I have the City Time program for my Pocket PC, (Dell Axim X5), and I have to say that the iphone app is a bit of a disappointment! On Code Citys web site they use their first application for the Palm in there discription of the app, then they state that this app is the best version of City Time ever made. However they are refering to the Palm program from years ago! It is missleading and should be changed so as not to have you think your getting something your not!
The version I have for my Pocket PC is hand over fist better than the iPhone app! World Time Pro is a stripped down version of the Pocket PC program, in World Time Pro you get the World page, a sun rise and set page, a moon rise and set page, a city comparison page, which your world page basicly does this anyway, and under the "more" category you get a calculator that works in days, a distance calulator and a settings selection that enables your twilight choice.
The Pocket PC version in comparison has 12 separate icons to choose from, Distance, Time Location, Time Zones, Time Calculator, World Time, Itinerary, City Dialing, Sunrise Sunset, Currency, Cities, Airlines, and a Conversion calculator.
Being a pilot I was hopeful that this newer app would be more than the Pocket PC app was, or at the very very least, equal to it. It is not even close! Code City needs to update this app and make it a whole lot better than just an app to look at, it needs to be more functional and useful. The city listings in the Pocket PC app have the city codes, it also has the area codes, you can plan your itinerary, calculate currency, get airline phone #s and web addresses, etc. etc. etc...........
In my oppinion it is not worth $3, $1 maybe, but no more! Its good for checking times in other cities seeing the sun and moon info and calculating time to go the distance, thats about it.
